Ship's Propeller by Floyd Snyder
This is a huge ship's propeller off an old vessel. It is on permanent display affixed to the boardwalk along the Embarcadero in Morro Bay, California.
Morro Bay is what was once a small fishing village, now a tourist mecca, located on the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo County.
It is home to the world famous Morro Rock and the entire city is a bird sanctuary. Tourist from all over the world come to Morro Bay to enjoy fishing, surfing, bird watching, and world-class restaurants.
Even with all of these other distractions, there is still a rather large working fishing fleet that supplies tons of fresh fish to all local restaurants and some miles away.
