Anyone that has traveled to Hawaii has found it surprising that certain places on the islands you can find chickens running wild all over the place.
You don’t have to fly to Hawaii to find wild chickens. Visit the quaint Village of Arroyo Grande, California. They are found mostly along the creekside parking lot behind the storefronts on Branch Street near the swinging bridge but they are just as likely to be found throughout the Village.
The chickens are often found crossing the streets and they do have the right away complete with “Chickens Crossing” signs through the Village.
The chickens have become quite popular with tourists and locals alike. They actually have their own website that can be found by searching on Arroyo Grande Chickens.
