Feeding Frenzy by Floyd Snyder
Morro Bay is home to a commercial fishing fleet and a couple of fresh fist markets. The boats also sell directly to many of the best seafood resturants in the state.
You can actuall go donw to the docks and find fisherman selling directly to the public off their boats where the clean and fillet the fish for you. The scraps are tossed overboard and this attracks seabirds of all kinds and it is very common to see feeding frenzies of this kind almost daily if you time it just right.
And of course, the fish can not get any fresher than that!
