Windmill at the Old Homestead by Barbara Snyder

This old farmhouse is leftover from the homestead days. I thought it was interesting how close the well and the windmill were to the house.

This is located in the Avila Beach area of San Luis Obispo County on the Central Coast of California. These old homesteads are spread out all through the Central Coast and all of California actually. Quite surprising to me how many of them have survived.
