Description
White Egert Posing Pismo Beach Dunes by Barbara Snyder
Egrets are herons that have white or buff plumage and develop fine plumes (usually milky white) during the breeding season. Egrets are not a biologically distinct group from the herons and have the same build.
This one was fishing in rather large back flowage in the dunes of Pebble Beach. I was a rather large back flowage that was full of water the day after a rather large rain from the day before.
The flowage was full of ducks and birds of all kinds including some really loud crows.
