Description
Bulldogs in hot whether have a difficult time cooling off because of their poor respiration that is part of the breed. This beautiful lady was drinking lots of water and panting (and slobbering, I might add) up a storm.
It was 109 degrees and this was take in Kern River Park in downtown Kernville, California on the Fourth of July. The beauty lady bulldog was very friendly and was really having a good time in spite of what it looked like at first glance. His owner, also a very beautiful lady, was very gracious in letting me play with the dog and take his picture. She also one of those new sports towels all wet done and was trying to get the dog to ware it. The dog kept shaking it off and trying to get some one to play tug of war with him. So I guess he was not as hot and uncomfortable as you would think, In fact, about 3 minutes of tug of war with him I wanted to wear the towel and seek shade but he was still willing going strong.
