Wilhelm Morgner ( Soest , January 27 of 1891- Langemark , August 16 of 1917 ) was a painter expressionist German . Student Georg Tappert , painter linked to the artist colony of Worpswede , whose landscape was initially influenced lyrical evolved later to a more personal and expressive style, influenced by the Orphic Cubism , where lines of color, with touches become important pointillist which are juxtaposed to form something like a tapestry . By accentuating the color and the line he left deep in flat compositions where objects are placed in parallel, and the figures are usually represented in profile. Since 1912 his work became important religious themes, compositions almost abstract , with simple lines drawn with color. He died in the First World War .
