South Bay Working Dock Morro Bay California by Floyd Snyder
This is one of several working docks located at the south end of the Morro Bay Harbor. It is rather small and only handles a few boats.
It is actually located right next to the boat launch ramp where the public including recreational boaters can launch their please craft.
Morro Bay is what was once a small fishing village, now a tourist mecca, located on the central coast of California in San Luis Obispo County.
It is home to the world-famous Morro Rock and the entire city is a bird sanctuary. Tourists from all over the world come to Morro Bay to enjoy fishing, surfing, bird watching, and world-class restaurants.
Even with all of these other distractions, there is still a rather large working fishing fleet that supplies tons of fresh fish to all local restaurants and some miles away.
