Water Draw at Hotel Nipton California by Floyd Snyder
Originally built in 1904, the Hotel Nipton is operated as a bed-and-breakfast inn to visitors of Nipton and the Mojave National Preserve. It has been featured in many books on the area. The adobe hotel, built in the Spanish Territorial style, has four rooms, three with double beds, the other with twin beds, all featuring central heating and cooling. An open reading and sitting room is available for all guests. Bathrooms are located down the hall. Rates include a continental breakfast brought to your room at your convenience. For reservations and current rate information, call (760) 856-2335 or e-mail us at hotel@nipton.com. Gas and groceries are available at the California/Nevada border at Primm, in Searchlight, Nevada, or at the town of Baker.
